KOHL’S – HISTORY

We are humans and we love shopping. If we will get best at some place then it will be our favorite shop. So many retailers’ are selling a number of things. Like clothes, furniture, tobacco, jewelry, etc. For daily routine, we need clothes and food.  In western countries mostly in USA and Canada so many famous brands, retailer shops, showrooms are placed. And mostly they are selling everything. But in 1927 Maxwell Kohl the owner of KOHL’S opened one retail shop in America. The Kohl's Corporation is an American department store retailing chain. In September 1962 Company’s first department store opened. After 10 years it means in 1972 American Tobacco Company took a controlling interest in the company. In 1979, the Kohl family left the management of the company. After 1992 Kohl's was the second-largest department store by retail sales in the United States.
